FBC Brandon provides opportunities for members of all ages to be involved in mission projects. Each year, FBC members will volunteer to spend a few days, a week, several weeks, or longer using their skills to meet other people's needs. FBC Brandon members have been involved in U.S. mission projects in Brandon, Tampa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Montana, New Orleans, New York, Texas, and Tennessee. We have also sent teams abroad to Australia, Brazil, Cuba, England, Haiti, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Namibia, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Russia, and Switzerland.
Mission projects included construction, door-to-door evangelism, Vacation Bible Schools (VBS), Backyard Bible Clubs, Puppets, apartment community ministry, Baptist Camp support, and soup kitchens.
If you love Jesus and want to share Him with others, you have a skill that can be used. Requests are made for plumbers and preachers, electricians and evangelists, computer specialists and choir leaders, dentists and doctors, teachers and helpers, carpenters and children’s workers.
