TOGETHER we can do great things for the Lord! I appreciate the faithful and dedicated service to the Lord of the members of First Baptist Brandon. You sacrificially give of your life in ministry and the Lord blesses your efforts. The importance of equipping and edifying the church is stressed in the New Testament model of the church and this task is accomplished through your ministry to the Lord. The church functions through the voluntary and loving service of the members of the body. Colossians 3:23 stresses that "whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."
This information presents an overview of opportunities of ministry at First Baptist Brandon. I encourage you to review the materials and pray for God to guide you in ways that you can serve the Lord in your church. The key of accomplishing the work of the church is found in the church working together for the Lord. I rejoice in a serving body of believers and I know that you will respond as the Lord leads you in ministry.
